Mark all of the scratches with the wax pencil: |

Choose the deepest scratch to remove first. Start sanding against the scratch. In this example, the large scratch is almost vertical, begin by sanding horizontally: |

Once the entire scratch is no longer visible, change pads to the next finer grit and change directions. In this example, begin sanding vertically. |

| Use the grid board to keep track of which scratches were removed and the grades of sanding pads used. If you have to stop, you will know where you left off: | |

| Once all of the scratches have been removed, polish with liquid abrasive: | |

Wipe down the entire tank with a clean cloth and water: |
